- Who can apply for Pearson Free Agent?
- Free Agent is only open to students who are attending courses at a US or Canadian college or university (including Hawaii). Free Agents must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents OR Canadian citizens or permanent residents.

If you haven't caught on yet, Pearson in very interested in getting your input. Each job that you decide to take on has a different incentive based upon the work that you complete. Incentives range from discounts on books to Visa cash cards to raffles.
- What is Pearson's motivation behind Free Agent?
- Pearson is looking to get students involved in the publishing process by having them offer feedback and original student-generated content like essays, photographs, and cartoons. Free Agent was created by students for students because Pearson wants your educational materials to reflect how you learn best.
- How do I know what my payment will be?
- The payment for each project is listed under the project description.
- How will I get paid?
- If incentive is monetary, we will make a deposit into your Pay Pal account. Before registering for Free Agent, you must establish a Pay Pal account and include that information in your profile.
- How will I know if one of my submissions was chosen for publication?
- If any of your photos, essays, or other individual works are chosen to be published, you will be contacted by the Pearson staff overseeing the project, via the contact information you provided when registering.
- How often are new projects posted?
- New projects are being continually updated and added by Pearson employees. So make us your homepage and check often!
- Will I still own the copyright to my work after submitting it?
- Pearson is not taking over any claim to the copyright of your work. Our permission form and process will give Pearson the right to use the work, but you will retain ownership of your work. All of our permission processes follow industry standards.
- How long will it take to complete a project?
- Projects can vary in size and time commitment. Some projects, such as a short survey, take as little as five to ten minutes, while a chapter review or essay could take up to an hour to complete depending on the particular project. Remember as the time commitment increases, so does the compensation.
- Can I view a sample project before I decide to actually complete it?
- Yes. Click on the project that interests you.
